The challenge

Demitec Contractors handles the full life of a build. Its team of architects, civil and structural engineers, project managers and quantity surveyors takes residential and commercial projects from architectural design through construction to final handover. Its work runs from family homes in Gayaza and Bunga to larger residences in Munyonyo.

In construction, the website is where a client decides whether to trust a contractor with what is often the biggest investment of their life. Most construction websites show the same thing: a gallery of finished buildings. Before-and-after photos show that a firm can finish a house. They don't show how it builds: the design thinking, the engineering, the stages, the discipline on site. Those are the things a careful client is really trying to judge.

Demitec had a second problem. Clients, family members and investors on active projects, many of them overseas or away from site, wanted to know how the build was going. Updates were scattered across phone calls, WhatsApp photos and site visits.

Demitec needed one platform that could do both jobs: win new work by showing the full depth of its track record, and keep current stakeholders informed as projects progressed.

The approach

NASDAN worked with Demitec's team to rethink how a project is presented. The aim was to treat each build as a story with stages, not a single photo.

Discovery produced three principles:

  1. Structure the data, not just the images. Each project is modelled as structured data: location, category, scope, services delivered and stages from design to handover. That lets the platform present projects consistently and grow without redesign.
  2. Show the process, not just the result. Prospective clients see how Demitec works at each stage, which builds the confidence that a finished photo alone cannot.
  3. Two audiences, one source of truth. Prospects reviewing Demitec's track record and stakeholders following a live build draw on the same project records, so the public portfolio and progress updates never fall out of sync.

The solution

NASDAN delivered a project-portfolio platform that documents the complete lifecycle of each build.

  • 01 · Lifecycle project portfolio. Each project page follows the build from design and engineering through construction to handover, with location, category and the services Demitec delivered.
  • 02 · Filterable track record. Prospects can browse projects by type and location to find work similar to what they're planning.
  • 03 · Live project updates. Stakeholders on active builds can follow progress by stage, with photos and milestones, without waiting for a site visit or a phone call.
  • 04 · Service pages and enquiry flow. Clear pages for architectural design, construction, renovation and project management lead into a quote request that captures what the team needs to respond.
  • 05 · Easy content management. Demitec's team adds projects and progress updates themselves, so the platform stays current without developer involvement.

The results & impact

Demitec Contractors now has a live platform that shows its project history with enough depth to win new work. A prospective client can see not just what Demitec has built but how it builds, across locations and project types.

For active builds, the same platform keeps stakeholders informed as work progresses. That means fewer status calls, more confidence for clients who can't be on site, and a record of every project that becomes part of the portfolio when it's finished. Every completed build adds to Demitec's marketing without extra effort.

"A finished house shows that a contractor can build. How they got there shows whether you can trust them with yours. We built Demitec a platform that shows both."
— Daniel Nasasira, NASDAN

Why it matters

  • Depth earns trust. Showing the full lifecycle of a build answers the questions careful clients actually have.
  • One platform, two jobs. Business development and stakeholder communication run on the same project data.
  • It compounds. Every live project becomes portfolio content when it's handed over.
